On the Fast Track with…
Monster-Traffic

We recommend that you print out this chapter so that you can follow along as you enter your Monster-Traffic site for the first time.

Step 1:
Bookmark or make your Monster-Traffic login page as one of your “favorite places,” so you can get to it as quickly as possible when you desire.  The URL you will need to bookmark is:

http://monster-traffic.com/members/login.cgi

Bookmark it, and name it  “Monster-Traffic"

Step 2:
Now that you have the Monster-Traffic login page set up as one of your favorite places, click on the link to go there.

Step 3:
(Note:  You are on the GENERIC login page, so you may not see YOUR name in the greeting near the top.  That doesn't matter since you will be logging in with YOUR username and password.)

Along the left of the page, directly under the  "Log-In Here" text, enter your username and password, both of which you chose when signing up.

(Remember that your username and password are both caSe SEnsiTivE.  That means that "username" is different from "USERNAME" or "UserName")

Click on the rectangular gray "Login" button.

You will now be on YOUR "Pro-Member Area" page.

Step 4:
Your "Pro-Member Area" page is more than a little confusing when it first opens!  The main reason being that it is not labeled as your "Pro-Member Area" page.  When you initially arrive at the page, all you will see at the very top is the text, "Monster-Traffic" in a large maroon box, below which are four text ads running from left to right across the page.  You will need to scroll down the page until you see another, smaller maroon box to the left containing eight rectangular, red hotlink buttons.  These red hotlink buttons are arranged in three rows.  In the first row of hotlink buttons you will see one labeled as, "Edit Message" which is the third button from the left.  (For right now, this one, small hotlink button is the ONLY thing of importance on the entire page!  You can ignore everything else.)

Click on the "Edit Message" hotlink button and you will be taken to the "Edit Your Daily Ad Copy" page.

Step 5:
On the "Edit Your Daily Ad Copy" page are four blocks that must be filled in.....

Block # 1 - "Set Your Delay"  From the drop-down menu choose the number of days you wish to delay sending out your sales message.  Although Monster-Traffic permits a delay of up to ten days, we recommend setting your delay at one day.

Block # 2: - "Please Select Mode" refers to sending out your sales message in either plain text or HTML.  If it is not already selected for you by default, select "Current Setting Plain Mode" from the drop-down menu.

Block # 3 - "Subject Line for Your Ad"  Your subject line is what your prospect initially sees when he opens his email box.

Copy and paste your selected subject line into this block.

Block # 4 - "Ad Copy"  Copy and paste your selected sales message into this block.

Note that Monster-Traffic only allows sales messages of a maximum of 1,500 characters, including spaces.  Thus, you may have to shorten your sales message a little.  (For example, if you are using the preformatted ads from the Big Dogs AdVault, you could simply delete the double rows of "#" signs at the top and bottom of each sales message after you copy and paste it into the Ad Copy block, and perhaps eliminate a sentence here, or there.)

Step 6:
Click on the gray "Edit Your Ad" hotlink button at the bottom to preserve your changes.  (If you do not click this button your information will not be saved and your ad will NOT be sent out!)  After clicking the "Edit Your Ad" hotlink button you will be taken to the confirmation page on which you may check you sales message for errors.  Your sales message will now be automatically sent out FOR you, based on the number of days delay you have selected.

You have now completed setting up your Monster-Traffic site to deliver your sales message.  Close the Monster-Traffic site and continue on to the next Fast-Track Tutorial.

Summary
That's it!  You're done!  Since Monster-Traffic uses a "Set-And-Forget-Emailing" system your FFA page will now AUTOMATICALLY send out your sales message every day.  The only times you need to return to your Monster-Traffic site is to change your sales message and/or your delay.
