MultiLinks

We recommend that you print out this chapter so you can follow along as you enter your MultiLinks site for the first time.

Step 1:
Bookmark or make the MultiLinks FFA Update Site as one of your "favorite places," so you can get to it as quickly as possible when you desire. The URL you need to bookmark is:

http://hightraffic.net/links/XXXXXX/update/

You need to replace the "XXXXXX" in the middle with your MultiLinks Username. Your Multilinks Username was the Username chosen by YOU when you initially joined Multilinks.  

Do not confuse this Username with your Password (also chosen by you when you first joined) or your Reseller ID (which is a string of five or six numbers that was ASSIGNED to you when you initially joined).

(Remember that your Username and Password are caSe sENsiTive.  That means that "username" is different from "USERNAME" or UserName")

Just enter your Username into the URL format shown above, like so:

http://hightraffic.net/links/hotdog/update/

Bookmark it, and name it "MultiLinks"

Step 2:
Now that you have the MultiLinks FFA Update Page set up as one of your favorite places, click on the link to go there.

Step 3:
You will be asked to enter your Username and Password. As we stated above, these are the two ID’s that you CHOSE when you initially joined MultiLinks.

Click on the "OK" button.

Step 4:
You are now at your "Premium Links Page Update Forms" page.

This page allows you to customize all aspects of your Premium Links Page. Scroll down a short distance from the top of the page, and you will see the different features that you can customize are listed vertically along the left side of the page as seven blue hotlinks.  However, the ONLY feature we are interested in at this point is the first blue hotlink.

So... click on the first blue hotlink titled, "Email Message Update Form."

Step 5:
You will be taken to that portion of the page where you will be entering the details of your outgoing sales message.  You will see the text stating, "Email Message Update Form" in the upper left hand corner.

Block # 1 - "From"   Enter your "marketing" email address here, NOT your MAIN email address.

Block # 2 - "Subject"  This is the subject line of your outgoing sales message.

Copy and paste your selected subject line into this block.

Below the subject line block, you will note that MultiLinks makes it possible for you to enter a number of customized features into the body of your outgoing sales message. Unless you are extremely experienced we recommend you do NOT use ANY of these features.  Instead, scroll down to the...

Block # 3 - "Choose Your Email Header Option" block. The "header option" referred to here is simply the no-spam disclaimer. Although Multilinks will automatically add the no-spam disclaimer to your outgoing emails at EITHER the top OR the bottom, we recommend that you place it at the bottom.  Therefore, on the dropdown menu, choose "(2) Put the header info at the bottom of my message as footer 2" if it is not already chosen by default.

Block # 4 - "Enter your updated e-mail message body below"  This is where you will input your sales message that you wish sent to people who post a link to the MultiLinks network. Copy and paste your sales message into the blank field.

(Note:  The MultiLinks FFA system has a built-in delay of two-three days before your message is sent out to your prospects.)

Block # 5 - "Email Format"  This feature allows you to send out your sales message as either plain text or enhanced HTML. As above, unless you are experienced, we recommend that you send out all messages as plain text. If it is not already checked, check the "Send as Plain Text Message" button.

SLOWLY scroll down until you come to the rectangular gray "Update Message" hotlink button to the left, and click on it to update your message information. (If you do not click this button your information will not be saved and your ad will NOT be sent out!)  You will be taken to a confirmation page which will verify that "Your Mail Message Has Been Successfully Updated" at the very top.

Now use your browser's back button to return to your "Premium Links Page Update Forms" page.

Step 6:
Scroll back down the page until you return to that gray "Update Message" hotlink button you just clicked on in Step 5.  Directly below you will see a "Send Yourself A Sample Message" area.  By clicking on the gray "Send Sample Message" hotlink button, your sales message will be sent to your main email address, so you can verify it for accuracy.  You will also be taken to a "Message Sent Successfully" screen.

You have now completed setting up your MultiLink site to deliver your sales message.  Close the MultiLinks site and continue on to the next Fast-Track Tutorial.

Summary
That's it!  You're done!  Since MultiLinks uses a "Set-And-Forget-Emailing" system your FFA page will now AUTOMATICALLY send out your sales message every day.  The only time you need to return to your MultiLinks site is to change your sales message.
