On the Fast Track with…
ProspectResponse

We recommend that you print out this chapter so that you can follow along as you enter your ProspectResponse site for the first time.

IMPORTANT:  The ProspectResponse program provides you with two sources of leads.

The first group of leads are the new ProspectResponse members who join the program each day.  The second group of leads are people who post their ad to the ProspectResponse FFA network.

ProspectResponse gives you the option of using EITHER a "Set-And-Forget-Emailing" system OR a "web-based" mailing system to send your sales message to these two groups of prospects.  This tutorial shows you how to set up both groups of leads using the S.A.F.E. system.

Step 1:
Bookmark or make your ProspectResponse site as one of your “favorite places,” so you can get to it as quickly as possible when you desire.  The URL you will need to bookmark is:

http://www.adsaturation.net/cgi-bin/pr/d.cgi/XXXXXXX/members.html

Of course, you need to replace the “XXXXXX” in the middle with YOUR ProspectResponse ID.  Your ProspectResponse ID was assigned to you when you initially joined, and generally takes the form of two capitalized letters (generally the first letter of your first and last name), followed by a four to six digit number.  Just enter your ID into the URL format shown above, like so:

http://www.adsaturation.net/cgi-bin/pr/d.cgi/AA12345/members.html

Bookmark it, and name it  “ProspectResponse"

Step 2:
Now that you have the ProspectResponse site set up as one of your favorite places, click on the link to go there.

You will be on the "ProspectResponse Members Area - Log In" page.  In the center of this page is a rectangular box with four areas.  The first area is the "Member" area.  The second area is the "Member ID" area.  The third area is the "Password" area.  Directly to the right of the word "Password" is a rectangular white box into which you should enter your password, and then click the small rectangular white "Login" button.

You will be on the "Member's Area" page.

Step 3:
Just below the top of the page you will see two rows of light blue text hotlinks.

In the second row, click on the third blue hotlink from the left entitled, "Send Your Ads"

You will now be on the "Send Out Your Ads" page.

Step 4:
On the "Send Out Your Ads" page, scroll down until you see a vertical column of seven blue hotlinks running down the middle of the page.

Click on the second blue hotlink from the top entitled, "Personalized Ads"  (It is directly below the first hotlink entitled, "PR Money Mail")

Although it is not titled as such, you will now be on the page for setting up your S.A.F.E. system for sending out your ad to the group 1 leads - all new members of ProspectResponse who join after you.

Step 5:
A short distance from the top of this next page, you will see that you can select a "Manual" mode or an "Automated" mode to send out your sales message.  If this is your first time accessing the ProspectResponse site, the small button to the left of "Manual" may already be checked by default.  However, we want to set up the S.A.F.E. mailer, so click on the small button to the left of "Automated"

As soon as you click to choose "Automated" you will automatically be taken to the page where you will fill in the necessary information to set up your S.A.F.E. mailer.

Step 6:
On this page are five areas of information that must be completed.

Area # 1 - "Subject"  This is the subject line of your email that the prospect will see when he opens his email box.

Copy and paste your selected subject line into this block.

Area # 2 - "Format"  If it is not already checked by default, check the small button to the left of "Text"

Area # 3 - "Delay"  The delay will be automatically chosen for you, for between one day and fourteen days.

Area # 4 - "Body of Message"  Copy and paste your selected sales message into this block.  ProspectResponse will automatically add the required "no-spam disclaimer" to the bottom of each of your sales messages when they are sent out.

(Note:  When you paste your sales message into the block, it MAY break up the lines and change the formatting.  This is nothing to worry about.  The formatting of your sales message will be returned to normal when it is sent out.)

Area # 5 - "Insurance"  Leave the two blocks in the "insurance" area blank.

Click on the small rectangular white "Spam Check" button which is the last block in the column.

You will be on the "Spam Assassin SPAM Check Results" page.

Step 7:
ProspectResponse's built-in spam checker tool has automatically analysed your message to see if it would be filtered as Spam when it reaches your prospects' mail boxes.  Messages recognized as Spam by various ISP's are filtered (not delivered), thereby reducing response.

If your message IS recognized as Spam, you should edit it according to the results displayed on this page to increase deliverability (and results).  Simply click the "Edit Message" block to go back to perform the necessary editing.

If your message is NOT recognized as Spam, click the UPPER "Send Message" block.

You will now be on the confirmation page that states...

"Personalized Promotion emails has been successfully saved. You can set and change your emails at any time."

Step 8:
Now click on the rectangular gray hotlink button entitled, "Go To Member's Area"  You will now be back on the main Member's area page that you were on in Step 3, above.

(You  will now set up the S.A.F.E. system to automatically send out your ad to the second group of leads - the FFA leads.)

Step 9:
Just below the top of the page you will again see the two rows of light blue text hotlinks.

In the second row, click once more on the third blue hotlink from the left entitled, "Send Your Ads"

You will be on the "Send Out Your Ads" page once more.

Step 10:
On the "Send Out Your Ads" page, again scroll down until you see the vertical column of seven blue hotlinks running down the center of the page.

THIS time, click on the third blue hotlink from the top entitled, "FFA Mailing List"

Although it is not titled as such, you will now be on the page for setting up your S.A.F.E. system for sending out your ad to the group 2 leads - people who have posted their ad to the ProspectResponse FFA network..

Step 11:
A short distance from the top of this next page, you will see that you can select a "Manual" mode or an "Automated" mode to send out your sales message.  If this is your first time accessing the ProspectResponse site, the small button to the left of "Manual" may already be checked by default.  However, we want to set up the S.A.F.E. mailer, so click on the small button to the left of "Automated"

As soon as you click to choose "Automated" you will automatically be taken to the page where you will fill in the necessary information to set up your S.A.F.E. mailer.

Step 12:

Step 13:
Now, assuming that you have entered the same ad in Step 12 as you did in Step 6, ProspectResponse's built-in spam checker tool will indicate that your message is NOT recognized as Spam.  Simply click the UPPER "Send Message" block.

You will now be on the confirmation page that states...

"FFA emails has been successfully saved. You can set and change your emails at any time."

Click on the rectangular gray hotlink button entitled, "Go To Member's Area" and then close the ProspectResponse website.

Summary
That's it!  You're done!  Since ProspectResponse uses a "Set-And-Forget-Emailing" system your site will now AUTOMATICALLY send out your ad every day to BOTH sets of leads.  The only time you need to return to your ProspectResponse site is to change your ad.
