"From
Outta Nowhere, This Relative
'Newbie' Is Setting the Internet
Marketing World on FIRE!"

Spotlight On...
Simon
Egan-Smith
M'man
Simon began his career as an Alpha Dog in exactly the way I DON'T
like to see our Big
Dogs start out!
Mr.
Egan-Smith upgraded to Alpha Dog toward the end of August and
had 5 ebook sales in his first two weeks. Not a
record-breaker, but pretty dog-gone good for a brand new guy.
The reason I say that this is the way I DON'T like to see Alpha's
start out is because I've seen it happen all too many times - you get
a few sales right out of the gate, and then you EXPECT sales to flow
smoothly and regularly ever after. I've seen some great people
start out like gang busters, and then they get, well...L-A-Z-Y.
Not
Simon!
He ended
September, his first full month, with a very commendable 24 sales!
Considering that August is probably second only to December as the
WORST marketing month of the year, I'd say Simon really started out of
the gate with a bang.
Let's
see what this human dynamo can teach us about his method of attaining
sales excellence!..
Stan:
"Good morning, Simon, and thanks for taking the time to share your
expertise with us. Let's begin by your telling the rest of our Big
Dogs who ya are and where ya came from and how ya got here..."
Simon:
"Well, Stan, I'm 42 years old, single, and I'm from the UK.
Currently
I work full time as an IT manger for a local company, taking
up way too much of my time. This was the cause of the breakdown of my
relationship. It was this
break up which convinced me that there had to be a better way to earn
an income."
"To
date I have tried a couple of offline business ventures. One cost
me a significant amount of money and the other is just about paying
it’s way. I started to
use the internet as an medium for advertising in January of this
year. I wanted to advertise my off line businesses, but I had
zero success. I signed up for several
programs including a number of traffic generating 'systems' but with
no real idea as to how to use them."
Stan:
"Our records indicate that you purchased 'Secrets of the Big
Dogs' way back in May."
Simon:
That's right, Stan. I bought the book on May 24, but really didn’t do anything with it until mid
August when I signed up as an Alpha Dog."
Stan:
"Well, you sure started off in a big way! Did you do
anything special initially?"
Simon:
"Not at all! Of course, I started with all the CHIP
programs
right away, and I used one of the preformatted Ad
Vault ads. This has been
successful in generating both traffic and sales of the Big Dogs
ebook. Also, by adding a URL to the website promoting my offline business,
I have significantly increased the traffic to that site."
Stan:
"I have also noticed that you have an above average conversion
rate of ebook purchasers to Alpha Dogs. What methods are you
using to accomplish that?"
Simon:
"Using a series of autoresponder messages to stay in touch with
everyone who buys the ebook from me has helped in a big way.
Unfortunately,
to start with I was not able to make contact with those people who
purchased the ebook as I set my autoresponder up incorrectly and
didn’t realize it. Once I had that sorted I noticed an increase in
the conversion rate to Alpha Dogs immediately."
Stan:
"Are you using any promotional methods other than the C.H.I.P.
programs themselves?"
Simon:
"Absolutely! Just as you urge in the Training Manual, I have
experimented with other
advertising systems - not the just the C.H.I.P. programs.
These were the
ones I had already used but with no previous success. Now, these aren’t
S.A.F.E.
systems, but as I was already putting the time and effort
into them, I had nothing to lose.
This proved to
me just how critical your sales copy in the
email is; get it right, and it works - get it wrong, and you are throwing
money away."
Stan:
"Well said! So, what's next on your agenda?"
Simon:
"I
am now in the process of trying to write my own ads for the Big Dogs
ebook. Using the ad
vault ads as a guideline as to what works, I feel that as I hone my
copywriting skills, my results should improve even more!
Other than that, I am doing nothing more than following the game plan
outlined in the Training Manual."
Stan:
"Simon, I again want to thank you for your time. It was
good of you to share a few words of wisdom to assist our other Big
Dogs. In closing, do you have anything else you'd like to
add?"
Simon:
"I
know that with barely two months of experience under my belt I am
still a 'work in progress,' but I am extremely grateful to the
Big Dogs system for providing a clear and precise way of using the
internet to market."
