And before you ask.....yes, that IS her genuine, honest-to-goodness, real name. (Nixie, by-the-way, is the lil' sweety in the right of the picture. Daughter Paris is on the left, with son Steven in the middle. The pirate is Captain Hook - NOT another family member - LOL!)

This Alpha Dog has some very worthwhile comments to make, fellow Dogs, so listen up! Two points in particular need emphasis:

The first is persistence. Her first month as an Alpha Dog, Nixie sold just ONE ebook. You'll hear more about her grisly experience....and how she turned things around in the following interview.

Secondly is a point that is overlooked by the majority of other Big Dogs. We all know that the MAIN purpose of the C.H.I.P. programs is traffic generation. But Nixie has also realized that in addition to lead generation, the C.H.I.P. programs offer a veritable treasure trove of marketing advice, ebooks, and tools. And she is making VERY good use of these additional resources.

Nixie: "Stan, first of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to speak to my fellow Big Dogs."

"I’m 32 years old with very little business background. I’ve dabbled with offline home based businesses but haven’t had much success. At least nothing that I could write home about and brag about! When I turned 15 I went and got my first job and needless to say, I have had one ever since! I’ve been a carhop all the way to a system’s manager throughout my years. All my life, I have lived paycheck to paycheck and most of the time I end up with more month than pay check."

Stan: "'More month than paycheck.' I think most of us can relate to that statement, Nixie! What about experience? Have you been marketing on the Internet very long? Have you been in other types of businesses before?"

Nixie: "I really have little or no experience at all until I read 'Secrets of the Big Dogs!' I started looking at programs and Internet marketing just a few months ago. Heck, I even purchased a couple of ebooks, read them and was not convinced that Internet marketing was cracked up to be what everyone was saying! No way did I believe you could make that kind of money. I for sure didn’t want to tell anyone that I was even considering purchasing an ebook to get into online marketing because they would think I was totally off my rocker … or to join an affiliate program."

"I purchased 'Secrets of the Big Dogs' in July from Juan Walker (great sponsor by the way!) and became an Alpha Dog in August. I started promoting Big Dogs August 20. I sold two books in August and one person even returned their book so in reality I only sold one."

"But instead of giving up, I changed my ad!"

"The next two weeks I made $500.00 in commissions and ebooks sales. By changing my subject lines, playing with my ads and following your step-by-step instructions…my business has totally taken off.

Stan: "Congrats, Nixie. It's unfortunate that most marketers just don't seem to understand that old adage, 'Half of all success is simply due to showing up.....again, and again.' So.....now that you are starting to get some experience under your belt, what are your general thoughts about the 'Secrets of the Big Dogs' ebook and the Big Dogs program in general?"

Nixie: "When I purchased 'Secrets of the Big Dogs' I read the book a few times before I took action to become an Alpha Dog. (The whole book is hi-lighted now in pink because every time I read it I consume more information!) Big Dogs is a great program and I tell the people that purchase the book and decide to become Alpha Dogs that after reading the The Fast Track Tutorials to get everything set up to put on auto-pilot then go back and study the additional features of each program. For example, Monster-Traffic has a site-rotator. You can put every single program on the site rotator and advertise that site rotator url on eBiz."

"You get your hits by your emails and your ads, but take full advantage of all the C.H.I.P. programs. Take the time to learn what each program has to offer. Visit the sites on a regular basis…. The Internet changes everyday. And sometimes the programs change too!"

Stan: "That is VERY good advice, Nixie. With the truly vast storehouse of information that the C.H.I.P. programs provide, in addition to the leads themselves, there is simply no need to go anywhere else on the Internet to get marketing advice!"

"Now for the big question: What type of ads are you using to promote Big Dogs?"

Nixie: "Well Stan, I have tried a few ads and I have noticed that changing your subject line sometimes is all you need to do to get more hits. Going back to learning more about the programs, I was reading on one of the C.H.I.P. sites about subject lines and they give some really great examples and ideas. Here is one example of one of my ads:

Nixie: "When I write my ads, I’m sincere and honest. I leave my phone number at the bottom of my ad because than the people who read my ad can call me if they want. I have gotten a few phone calls and it is always nice to talk to a 'real' person that can answer your questions or concerns."

Stan: "In addition to promoting through the C.H.I.P. programs, what other forms of advertising have you found to be effective?"

Nixie: "I’m really new at Internet marketing and I haven’t promoted the Big Dogs except for using the C.H.I.P. programs. AND… If I must say… I’m doing pretty darn well with just that right now!"

Stan: "Nix, I'd like to thank you for your time and thoughts. You have brought up some very good points. Any famous last words for the troops in the trenches?"

Nixie: "I was born and raised in Montana. I currently live in Glasgow, MT and work full-time for a traveling nurse company. I have two beautiful children – Steven (11) my son, and Paris (10) my daughter. As a family we enjoy camping or anything outdoors. I love to cook, but working full-time, running to soccer practice, dance practice, laundry, my meals are well… shall we say “Mac-n-Cheez”!
