A few year ago an extremely successful ad campaign on TV for the brokerage firm of E. F. Hutton went,

"When E. F. Hutton speaks...
...people listen!"

That catch-phrase could be justifiably reworded for the 21st century as,

"When Brian Garvin speaks...
...the entire Internet listens!"

And I MEAN that!  Because of the explosion of the Big Dogs phenomenon, I have had the opportunity to correspond with dozens of the Internet's gurus (AND guru "wannabe's!") and I can sincerely say that Brian is one of that (very) small handful that I can honestly admire, respect...and TRUST.  He is undoubtedly THE expert on Internet marketing, and has the well-earned reputation as being the Internet's # 1 promoter of affiliate programs.

In addition to e-books and e-reports of his own, Brian is probably most famous for his legendary "Opt-In Lightning" - an ultra-sophisticated email capture program, which is just ONE of a number of computer programs he has been instrumental in developing.  He has been a featured speaker at the national Internet Marketing Conference, and you may have seen his info-mercials on late night TV!

If he has a flaw, it's that he's a workaholic!

He's involved in so many projects, and has so many irons in the fire at any one time, I just KNOW that he's gotta have an Internet connection in his bathroom.  (LOL!)

The year prior to his affiliation with Big Dogs, his income was $14,531.72.  After his first year with the Big Dogs, Brian's income literally SOARED to a whopping.....

$226,493.98!!!

To this very day, he still holds the monthly record for sales of the "Secrets of the Big Dogs" ebook, at 344 copies!

Was Big Dogs responsible for Brian's astounding success?

Well, yes and no.  "Yes," in that Big Dogs was the principal VEHICLE that he used at that period of time to explode his income.  "No," in that it took a Brian Garvin to MAKE USE of that vehicle.  I can whole heartedly state that Brian's incredible marketing talents were instrumental in making Big Dogs the icon of Internet marketing that it is today.

You can have the fastest, sleekest sports car in the world, but it takes a talented, one-of-a-kind driver to take it across the finish line in the number one position!

To put it bluntly, Brian-Garvin-IS-Internet-marketing!

Now, Brian, because of other projects he has on the burner, has not actively promoted the Big Dogs program for awhile.

Brian Garvin has used Big Dogs, not just to promote Big Dogs itself, but to effectively promote his other ventures.  He has used the "Secrets of the Big Dogs" ebook, not just to get his downlines involved in the C.H.I.P. programs, but as a "basic training manual" for his people.  In short, Brian has effectively used Big Dogs with the intent that I originally designed it - as a springboard and training source for ANY program, product, or service.  And this, fellow Dogs, is EXACTLY where Big Dogs is headed in the years to come!

Brian Garvin Secret # 1:

"Write your ads in an easy-going, one-on-one style."

Brian recently ran the above ad just ONCE, and it resulted in ten ebook sales in just one day!

And is it any wonder?  You'll notice his very "conversational," very personal manner of speaking - it's like he's sitting down with you, a close personal friend, just shooting the breeze.  There's no hype, no hard-sell - just two pals sitting down over a cup of coffee.

Brian Garvin Secret # 2:

"Never use the advertising materials given to you by the company you are promoting."

Virtually any company with an affiliate program has a "Member's Site" with tons of pre-written ads, banners, and other promotional materials.  However, you'll notice that the Big Dogs program has just ONE sample ad, merely as an example to use as a starting point for your own INDIVIDUALLY DESIGNED ads.

Take it from Brian:  You MUST learn to put together your OWN ads so they are DIFFERENT from everyone else's.  The so-called "proven" ads given to you by most affiliate programs are just that - PROVEN.  And they've been "proven" so much and so often by so many affiliates that they are no longer effective.  A good quality program offering a genuine value to the consumer can NEVER become saturated.  But individual ads can and DO become saturated very quickly, especially on the Internet.

In order to be successful on the Internet you need to practice writing your OWN ads and subject lines.

Brian Garvin Secret # 3:

"Compile your own in-house mailing list and mail to it regularly."

This is a dictum that we've tried to drill into our Big Dogs affiliates constantly, and Brian lives by it religiously!  Currently, his personal mailing list numbers over 30,000, to which he sends his "A+ MarketPlace" newsletter each week.  Obviously a list this size doesn't come about overnight - it took him YEARS to develop.  But this list is now worth it's weight in gold - these are folks with whom Brian has established a rapport.  What kind of response do you think he gets when he promotes something to this group of "friends!?"  Think about it!

Brian Garvin Secret # 4:

"At the bottom of every ad, include your name, email address, and telephone number."

Remember this:  Accessibility builds credibility.  If you analyze the ads in your email box you'll find that most of 'em don't even have the advertiser's name at the bottom!  Rarer still is it to find the person's email address and TELEPHONE number.  I am dumbfounded when I see the lack of this important information in an ad.  Not only does placing this data in your ad portray an aura of respectability and solidity to your prospect, but in the words of Brian,

"The easier you make it for prospects to reach you, the faster you start building relationships, which is the key to success for any business - and even more so on the Internet because the Internet by nature is so spread out and distant."

You're gonna have a pretty tough time building relationships (i.e. building your in-house mailing list) if you don't provide prospects with multiple and easy ways to contact you.

Brian Garvin Secret # 5:

"Be a good sponsor."

Now, by being a "good sponsor," I DON'T mean "sponsoring good" (if you'll excuse the bad grammar!).  There are tons of marketers on the Internet that have the ability to sponsor a lot of people quickly.  But because of a lack of proper upline support, these "lost in the desert" downlines evaporate rather quickly, and that marketer find himself constantly having to rebuild his organization.

Their philosophy seems to be "churn 'em & burn 'em."

Few things frustrate me more than having an Alpha Dog who is really pumpin' 'em out, and then, a week or so later, I start to get those "I've emailed my sponsor three times now and he won't respond to my messages,' kinds of emails.

And this is yet another area where Brian really shines;  he is the sponsor 'par excellance.'  He is SUPER responsive to the needs of his downline people, and ALWAYS answers his emails in a timely fashion.  He once told me,

"REGARDLESS of how stupid the question may be, Stan, I ANSWER EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY EMAILS!"

And, frankly, I don't know how the heck he does it.  I know for a fact that Brian works alone, but you would think he has an in-house staff of a dozen people answering his emails for him!

So.....if you want to build organizations that LAST, instead of building 'spider webs' that melt with the morning dew.....

Don't just "sponsor good" - be a "good sponsor!"
