"Is YOUR Internet Business
In The Toilet?
Don't Flush YET!"

Spotlight on...
Ed Schlueter

Stan:  "Ed, you've been a consistent producer with Big Dogs now for approximately six months.  Did you have a lot of Internet marketing experience prior to that?"

Ed:  "Hardly!  I have been marketing stuff on the Internet not counting Ebay, for about two years.  I have some product sites - you know movies and gifts through a fulfillment company.  I've also tried some MLM-type programs and started an ezine, but I kept coming back to the fact that affiliate income was the way to go.  The problem was that each one alone would not pay the costs to market it as a single opportunity."

Stan:  "So just what lead you to join Big Dogs?"

Ed:  "Well, when I finally read 'Secrets of the Big Dogs,' I was like, 'Where has THIS been?'  It just made so much sense to multiply your efforts under one umbrella like Big Dogs.  In fact, I kinda kicked myself for not thinking of it myself!  But setting it up would have been torture and the stuff you provide, Stan, is so well organized and easy to follow it just plain wouldn't make sense to try and reinvent the wheel, so to speak.  I never would have been able to do as good a job as the Big Dogs product is today!"

Stan:  "Thanks for the compliment, Ed.  The Big Dogs program of TODAY is not the Big Dogs program of YESTERDAY - it is the product of trial and error and continuous feedback from all you troops in the trenches.  Big Dogs has changed and EVOLVED a great deal since we launched it in March of 2001 - thanks in large part to the involvement of ALL of our affiliates, such as yourself.  I think that may be why Big Dogs CONTINUES to be one of the top affiliate programs on the Internet - we have an open ear to the comments and suggestions of our members.  Big Dogs is not a stagnant, never-changing entity.  Rather, I like to think of it as a living, breathing, EVOLVING organism."

"So, anyway, has Big Dogs changed your life at all?"

Ed:  "You betcha!  I am married to my wonderful wife, Ann.  I have a two grown up kids from a first marriage, a daughter 25 and a son 22 who is studying architecture in Germany. Then, with Ann we have two younger boys age 10 and 4.  Being a single parent with the older kids made me want to spend more time with my younger ones...Working 55 to 60 hours a week did not leave a lot of time.  I am now coaching soccer and baseball and helping at school.  I regret not having the time like that for the older kids."

"Big Dogs also frees me up to do some fishing in the summer.  (LOL!)  That's the beauty of Big Dogs - it doesn't take all your time like when I first started... It gave me the freedom to do the important things....but it was very long first year before I was in Big Dogs.  Whew!  Glad that is over with!..."

"I am 46 years old, Formerly a Director of Distribution for a major Retailer for 21 years.  No, I didn't get laid off...I laid THEM off!  I decided to stay home with my 3 year old (now 4 year old) when we moved to Minnesota.  I knew there had to be a way to make money on the Net, and this would give me the opportunity to find it."

Stan:  "Glad to hear it, Ed.  Now, in addition to the C.H.I.P. programs, do you use any other methods to generate traffic and leads?"

Ed:  "I use some safe lists like Simple System and E-Maniac marketing.  Other that that it's the CHIPs.  I do keep a look out for good FFA's to host, but I haven't found any yet that work as well as the CHIPs."

Stan:  "And what about your ads.  How about sharing one of them with the rest of your fellow Dogs....."

Ed:  "No problem.  This is about the 12th draft of the one I started with...But the thing that made it work was the subject line.  I think it struck a chord with what others are experiencing while trying to market on the Net.  People that called, said they had to open it up when they saw it because, it was the way they were feeling.. So find something catchy that describes the way you felt trying to market without Big Dogs."

"My telephone number is at the top of  this email.  Feel free to call.  I don't want anyone to waste time like I did in starting my Internet business, and I don't mind talking to hard working people, like myself."

"You may already be successful, but this may help you get even better.  So read the link and save your self a bunch of headaches.  If I can help you in any way don't hesitate to call. There is no sense in making some of the same mistakes that I was making.  You see, before I read this information,  I was posting to FFA's and Search Engines till my fingers were numb. Spent a ton on opt in emails.  I don't know what was thinner - my patience or my wallet!!!"

"Now I have learned the ropes and am making a living as an Internet Marketer!"

"How?"

"Well, I came across a group of people that specialize in helping independent Internet Marketers learn the secrets of the Net. The stuff that works - the stuff that most so-called "gurus" just don't share. Actually the link does a better job of explaining about them."

"These people saved my Internet businesses!!!"

"Sincerely,"

"Ed Schlueter"

"PS  Call me if you have a minute and tell me about yourself and your Internet business.  It is always a pleasure to  visit with other success-oriented folks in the Internet business."

Stan:  "Ed, I notice that you have your telephone number smack-dab at the TOP of your ad.  Any reason for that?"

Ed:  "Yes, there is.  First of all, like other Big Dogs have pointed out, having your personal contact information in your ads gives you a LOT of credibility - ESPECIALLY when you put in your phone number.  I take that basic principal one step further and put all my info right at the top of the ad...even before the ad itself!  This INVITES them to call me, because if you can build a relationship with people,  and sincerely make an effort to help them, they are more likely to give the Big Dog program a try.  A lot of people don't like to talk to people, but it is different with Big Dogs...they are calling you because they are interested in what you have and want more info to get their business going."

"The best part is, when they call you have the answer!  That's a huge difference from MLM's that want you to try to get people on conference calls and training sessions.  This is much more net friendly.  And you just talk to people about their business.  What's working, what's not, and then what Big Dogs can do for them.  Most calls are 5 minutes or less and I only get one for every 100 to 150 hits.
