It takes a LOT to impress me. And it takes even more to INSPIRE me!

John Schnabl manages to do both.

Initially purchasing the "Secrets of the Big Dogs" ebook way back in December, John didn't get around to upgrading to Alpha Dog until well past the middle of July - just in time for the period of the year that most marketers consider to be the worst time of the year for promoting.

Undeterred, and showing himself to be a true Big Dog, John managed to do a truly commendable job in a very short period of time!.....

Stan: "Congratulations on a late start, but a great start! Just what is your business background?"

John: "I'm 34 years old and my previous 'business background' was being a garbage man. Then, six years ago I started my own lawn care business. I have no education other than high school and persistence through life's experience."

Stan: "Before joining the Big Dogs team, John, what had your previous Internet marketing experience been like?"

John: "Ooh, boy! After two years of trying many different programs, I had made a total of $180.00. And that's GROSS, not NET! To 'make' that $180.00, I actually 'invested' thousands of dollars. I've been scammed and lost even from programs you see on TV, and I'm still fighting to get a couple grand back from one of them. (ouch!)"

Stan: "'Ouch,' is right! I think it's safe to say that we've ALL had our own 'year of horror' - that period of the learning curve when the Internet is more like a money sponge than a money machine. So just what are your general thoughts about the Big Dogs program, now that you're startin' to kick butt and take names!?"

John: "I was greatly encouraged by reading 'Secrets of the Big Dogs,' a book that was very user friendly cause I know I'm not always the sharpest crayon in the box. Simplicity is important to me. One of the main attractions I had for the program is the support would be there from Stan and his staff and my upline. I had to use both a couple of times to kick start my business to get it going cause of my inexperience. Y'know it's good to have support. It tells ya you're gonna make it."

Stan: "Well, John, we DO try. It's always amazed me that the majority of Internet program owners are so doggone caught up in that 'This is the Internet, so personal contact and support is irrelevant' frame of mind. Call me a dinosaur, but over the last 30 years I've learned that nothing can take the place of that personal touch. And sure enough, those Big Dogs who are 'doin' the job' live by this code of conduct as well."

"Could you give us an example of the type of ad you are using to promote the Big Dogs program?"

John: "When it comes to ads I use this one (it was given to me by my upline, Chris Gibson). I change the subject every few days or whenever my hits start to decrease. I learned from Chris to keep experimenting on the subject line and track it close. I'm going to come out with a new ad so I can rotate them to keep my sales consistently high....."

Stan: "Nice ad, John. That personal touch always makes a winner! Besides the CHIP programs, what other types of promotion are you using?"

John: "I have not found the magic formula yet to pull like crazy on my ads but I'm working on three very big ideas to crank out sales. So far, being a newer Alpha Dog, I learned from a few safelists using the SafeListWorld system that I get some hits. From one solo ezine ad I also received some good hits. I've been dabbling ya could say in some things, but I have not found other than the CHIP programs to be my greatest strength for hits."

Stan: "Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, John. There is no doubt that other Big Dogs are going to learn a LOT from what you have said! In closing, do you have any other parting comments?"

John: "I'm married and have three sons. My full time job is seasonal cause I work on lawns, and winters are long in Wisconsin compared to much of the US. Because of this situation winters are financially hard on my family. My goal is in one year from when I started Running with the Alpha Dogs to have my income carry me and be a full time netprenuer! This has been my dream for years."
