"This 'Legal Eagle'
REALLY Soars!"

Spotlight on...
Karen Weiner

This relatively new Alpha Dog-ette started off her first full month with a fairly respectable eight ebook sales, and followed that up by TRIPLING her production with twenty four sales her second month!

Karen is an attorney by trade and has brought her obviously incisive and analytical mind to the task of running a successful Internet marketing business.  I have no doubt that you will learn a lot from her interview, so let's see what this counselor can counsel US about being an outstanding Big Dog!...

Stan:  "Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Karen.  Can you give us a little background information about yourself?"

Karen:  "I am 37 years old, Stan, and I live in Hertfordshire in England with my husband Stuart and our gorgeous little boy Jamie aged 5."

"I have no business background whatsoever.  I DO have another job which is pretty much full timeI am a Divorce Lawyer, which is about as far removed from Internet marketing as you can get. I have been qualified as a lawyer for twelve years and always been involved in litigation. The last five years, however, I have been specializing in Family Law.  Because of my hectic schedule, at the present time I can only work the Big Dogs program on a VERY part time basis."

Stan:  "Your performance thus far indicates that you have a lot of Internet experience.  What were your results BEFORE becoming affiliated with the Big Dogs?"

Karen:  "Now this may surprise you, but I had only been involved in Internet marketing since for roughly five months prior to joining Big Dogs. I was a complete and utter 'newbie' at the time. Totally naïve - my only experience of the internet was research for my other job, booking vacations and chatting to my friends in the US. That is as far as it went."

"I had no idea what a 'URL' was or even a safelist. I was THE target for all the scammersI had for some time been looking around for something I could do from home so I could spend more time with Jamie. The computer seemed the obvious thingI saw an ad in one of the English newspapers - there are a lot of them. They say for example, 'If YOU own a computer YOU can earn money from the comfort of your own home!'"

"So I checked a few websites out. I found one run by two English guys that looked fairly legitimate and joined up. The fee was about $250.  I had absolutely NO idea how to promote the site and spent a huge amount of money on guaranteed traffic, ppcs, leads programs, etc. I got a mere two sales!  Then I joined some more programs in the hope of getting my money back.  What a disaster!"

Stan:  "So what led you to Big Dogs, Karen?"

Karen:  "Well, my previous marketing endeavors up to that point had amounted to nothing more than building up a huge amount of debt. I was about to give up when I saw the Big Dogs Ad.  Something about it intrigued me, and as it was only $19.95 I thought I'd look at it and if I didn't like it, get my money back."

"I started to read it as soon as I got it and sat up late into the night - what I liked so much which I had not seen with anything else was it was so easy to understand and it made complete sense - no complicated jargon and no hype.  I couldn't stop thinking about it for the next few days and then decided to go for it.  I took my time signing up for the CHIPs programs - I think I did one a day but it was great because for the first time I had detailed instructions on what to do.  I became an Alpha Dog on Christmas eve and really got serious about marketing Big Dogs in the New Year."

"During the first couple of weeks I had seen a lot of ads from the same guy in England, Rupesh Dhutta (he was featured in a previous Big Dogs Bulletin). I got in touch with him and he gave me a lot of guidance and help and really motivated me. Within the next few days I got my first sale and, like they say, 'the rest is history.'"

Stan:  "So now that you've got your feet wet with the program, what are your thoughts about Big Dogs?"

Karen:  "Like most people before Big Dogs I had gone from one program to another and lost a lot of money.  Now I am totally addicted to Big Dogs - I've given up all the other programs and am starting to slowly get my money back.  To be honest Stan I really couldn't promote the book to others if I didn't believe in it - that's why when I started I had trouble writing ads but very soon when I saw for myself that it does work I had no problemNow its great when I get emails from my Alpha Dogs telling me about their sales and how glad they are they found it!"

"For me there are several great things about the book. Firstly, its simplicity - for someone with no experience like me it was just great to have effectively a manual."

"Secondly, it became very clear to me very quickly that the only way to make any money on the internet is by residual income - Big Dogs of course provides this in abundance. When my first Alpha Dog started to sign up I was just so excited!"

"I also love the fact that there are regular bulletins - I regularly look at the old bulletins and would encourage others to do the same. I find there are lots of tips and I find them to be quite motivational, especially the spotlight stories on other Alpha Dogs.  You feel a bit like part of a Big Family. Whenever things are a bit slow I read an old bulletin and things quickly get back on course."

Stan:  "One of the things about these interviews that are really popular with our membership is when we discuss ads and copy-writing.  What about you, Karen?  Where do YOU get your ads, and what advice can you give the rest of us about your brand of copy-writing?"

Karen:  "I now write all my own ads. I follow the types of ads that have been successful for others - i.e. I tell my own, personal story. I struggle a bit with subject lines but I'm sure even the best do. Its great when an ad gets a lot of hits - and of course I track everything."

"I always 'cloak' my ads - i.e. I don't mention Big Dogs in it. Now don't take offence at that, Stan, but as you know there are a lot of misconceptions about things on the Internet and people have pre-conceived ideas. I want to get as many people as possible to the site so you can sell the book to them - if they see Big Dogs in the subject line or the ad many just wont click my link."

"Here is a sample of one of my ads..."

"Hi, and thank you for reading this message!"

"I know you are busy and receive lots of emails full of junk so I appreciate you not deleting me straight away."

"My name is Karen. I am not an autoresponder nor a bulk email message. Like you I am just an ordinary person looking to earn a living on the net.  I certainly don't claim to be a guru.  But I have worked my b… off trying to build my online business, doing the same things as YOU are no doubt doing now or I wouldn't have found you."

"In the beginning I had no idea how to get started or where to run for help.  I wasted a ton of time and money and all I ended up with for my hard work was a load of JUNK MAIL and DEBT!"

"Then one day I stumbled upon some information..."

"I'm not sure whether it was luck, fate or something else…but I can honestly say that it has changed everything for me. I had seen this information before and passed it up many times thinking it was just like all the other stuff I had tried.  I didn't realize that the reason I had seen it so many times was because it ACTUALLY WORKS!"

"I decided to give it a go since it seemed to make sense - well nothing else had worked for me and I was about to jack it all in."

"Once I got started I realized the potential and really went for it.  The results have frankly been astounding My business is a success and this information such a godsend that to this day I still follow it and want to share it with anyone who has lost money on the net as I did."

"That is why I work so hard trying to get others like you to just READ it!"

"I'd like to share this information with you so you too can benefit. Even if you have seen it before you NEED to have another look.  It is the difference between success and failure!"

"You can find it at..."

"Just promise me something …Ok?"

"Do NOT just casually scan the information like you are probably in the habit of doing. I know how it goes…we are all busy and naturally we just quickly scan most of the pages we visit.  That's fine most of the time, but THIS IS DIFFERENT, so read it very carefully!"

Stan:  "I think that's one of the best ads I've seen in a while!  And no, I certainly didn't take offense at what you refer to as 'cloaking' your ad so as to exclude any mention of Big Dogs.  Actually, this is a currently very popular advertising method in the offline world.  You may have noticed recently many TV commercials wherein, after the commercial is over, you sorta have to scratch your head and focus on just what the product WAS that they were advertising.  This works very well with brands that are SO popular (i.e. Coke, Burger King, Chevrolet - and, on the Internet, Big Dogs) that, just as you said, they either become 'invisible' to prospects or the prospect THINKS he already knows all about it.  So, again I say, 'well done!'"

Karen:  "Thanks, Stan.  I also tend to rotate my ads so, for example, the same ad with the same subject line doesn't go to all CHIPS leads and safelists on the same day. I think this way it has more chance of being seen and doesn't go stale as quickly."

"I also invested in Chris Gibson's book - email ads of Gold which gave me a lot of tips (thanks Chris)"

"I also followed your advice I read in an old bulletin and scan my junk emails before I delete them. This keeps me up to date with what is going on and I also see what other successful Alpha Dogs are doing. It's a bit time consuming but I think it is worth it."

Stan:  "What about advertising sources other than the C.H.I.P?  Do you use anything else to promote the program?"

Karen:  "I use all the CHIPs programs and ensure that I send out to them every day. I also use safelists. I try where possible to use the group mailer as I find the leads are more responsive."

"That is it. I will try ezine advertising at some stage when I have built up a bit of a budget. So far I have been fairly successful just using these but will experiment when I have a bit more time with some other types of advertising."

"I became an Alpha Dog on 24th December and gave myself three months (until 24th March) to see a result (I know you say 3-6 months but I'm a bit impatient!)  By the end of February I ALREADY had 4 Alpha Dogs under me and am consistently selling books each weekAlthough I haven't sold a large number on a daily basis, my sales are consistent and you have to remember I do this on a very part time basis. This I think speaks for itself . If I can do it - believe me anyone can."

"Having said that I am very persistent - I treat it like I would any other business and dedicate time to it every single day, sending out ads, writing ads, joining safelists etc. It really makes me mad when I get emails from people that they want to make big bucks by doing no work and not spending any money - get real!  No one would expect to set up a successful offline business without hard work and at least some investment so why would it be any different on the Internet."

"I also think it is very important to get to know my downline and  give them all the help and encouragement they need. I hope that they will do the same and then we can all be successful."

"My goal, Stan, is not to be a millionaire. I have a successful career offline which I really enjoy. But I also love doing this and get a real thrill out of it - I want to make enough from it this year to pay off my credit cards and buy a new car.
Hopefully I'm on my way.
"

"Thanks for providing such a great program and one that does actually works!"
