On
the Fast Track with
the…
BuildABizOnline
AdTracker
Setting Up Your AdTracking URL's to
Track Your Clicks
(After reading, just close this browser
window to return to Training Manual Contents)
(Beginning note: This
tutorial assumes that you have joined ALL of the available CHIP
traffic generating programs. If you have NOT yet joined all
the CHIP programs, it will NOT affect
your use of this Tutorial
in setting up your all-important tracking URL's; later in the
instructions, simply substitute the CHIP programs that you HAVE
joined for those given in the Tutorial.
Also, even if you have
NOT joined ALL of the CHIP programs YET, we STILL recommend that you
use this tutorial to configure ALL of the adtrackers; it will
give you great practice in understanding adtrackers in general and
BuildABizOnline in particular, and eventually.....
.....you probably WILL be joining all of the CHIP
programs as you gain experience!
Step
1:
Go to the BuildABizOnline site at:
https://buildabizonline.com
Step 2:

In the horizontal menu running
along the top of the front page, click the white hotlink labeled
"MEMBERS LOGIN"
On the "Hi, and Welcome
Back to
BuildABizOnline" page, enter your username and
password, and click the rectangular gray button labeled "Log
In"

What's
called a "full-page login ad" may be displayed. This
is a paid ad from another BuildABizOnline member. You must stay
on this ad for 15 seconds, after which you can click on the "Click
Here To Go To Your Members Area" hotlink
at the top of the page.

You will be on the "Welcome
to Your BuildABizOnline Member's Area" page.
Near the top of the
Member's Area page is a horizontal menu consisting of eight white
hotlinks. Click the sixth white hotlink from the left, labeled
"Pro Member Tools"
(Note: If you've
followed our instructions you WILL be a paid, upgraded Pro Member, and
NOT a Free Member!)
On the drop-down menu that
appears, simply click the only hotlink you observe, labeled
"Pro Member Tools"

Step 3:
Now, you'll recall
that BuildABizOnline is the most comprehensive "toolbox" of
marketing tools on the Internet, so the page that is displayed shows a
LOT of tools. (Don't get confused! Take your time!)
Scroll down until
you see the MAIN heading "ADDITIONAL
BUILDABIZONLINE TOOLS"

Step
4:
In
the fifth square box from the left, labeled "Cloak, Track,
Shorten URL's," click the rectangular dark
blue "Click Here"
button.
On the next page that is
displayed, scroll down to the "Enter A URL To Track"
area.

STEP 4a:
In the "Campaign Name" block.....
.,,,,enter the website URL
of the first advertising program whose results you wish to track. For
example, assuming you are using "ProActiveMailer" to send
an ad, you would enter proactivemailer.com in the
blank box to the right, in lower case letters, and WITHOUT
the "https://" like so:
proactivemailer.com
STEP 4b:
In the "Website URL" block.....
.....you would enter the complete
affiliate URL of the website you wish to promote. For
example, if you are promoting the
Big Dogs program, in the block to the right, enter YOUR ClickBank hoplink
(in lower case letters):
https://hop.clickbank.net/?affiliate=yournickname&vendor=bigdogs
From now on (assuming you are
promoting the Big Dogs program) you will ALWAYS copy and paste
the SAME URL - your
Big Dogs ClickBank hoplink - into the "Website URL" block.
STEP 4c: In the
"Choose Tracker URL Domain"
block.....
.....using the drop-down menu, select "trackit.link"
STEP 4d:
In the "Cloak URL?"
area.....
.....make sure to
check the "NO"
button.
(It is important to check the
'NO'
button!)
STEP 4e:
In the "Branding Bar Location"
area.....
.....make sure that
the "Hidden" button is chosen.
(It is important to make sure that
the 'Hidden' button IS
checked!)
(Your "Enter A URL To
Track" area should now look like the example below.....
.....except, of course, it is YOUR ClickBank hoplink
(with YOUR
unique ClickBank nickname) in the
"Website
URL" block!!!

STEP 4f:
Finally, click the rectangular gray button labeled "Add
URL"
You have just added
ProActiveMailer to your campaigns, and you will be redirected to a
verification page, similar to the one below:
(Notice that the "New
URL" is less than HALF the length of your ClickBank hoplink!
Also note that ALL trackit.link adtracking links will be identical
in general format, the only difference being the four to six
characters at the end of the URL.)

STEP 4g:
Click the "Click Here to Add New Cloaking URL"
hotlink text to return to the "Enter A URL to Track" page to
set up more adtracking URL's.
Step 5:

But before we begin adding
additional CHIP programs, take a look at your "Enter A URL to Track" page.
In the row of data that is now
displayed near the top
of the page you will see
the "Campaign Name" name as "proactivemailer.com."
To the right of the Campaign Name are TWO URL's:
The top one is the "Website
URL" - the website you are promoting and the one to which
you will be sending traffic. Assuming you are promoting Big
Dogs this URL would, of course be YOUR ClickBank hoplink. From
now on this "Website URL" will ALWAYS be the same: it
will ALWAYS be your ClickBank hoplink! (Or any other program you
wish to promote)
Directly
below the Website URL is the all-important "Tracking
Link" This "Tracking Link" is what you
will actually be copying and pasting into the ProActiveMailer when you use it.
Every "Tracking
Link" is different (since you will have several different
CHIP programs to track), but in the same general form.....
https://trackit.link/mo59
.....the only difference being
the four to six character code at the end.
NOW... let's setup the "Tracking
Link" for a second CHIP program:
Step 6:
STEP 6a:
In the "Campaign Name" block.....
.....enter the website URL
of the second advertising program you wish to track. For
example, assuming you are using "Mailsy" to send
an ad, you would enter mailsy.net in the
blank box to the right, in lower case letters, and WITHOUT
the "http://" like so:
mailsy.net
STEP 6b:
In the "Website URL" block.....
.....you would enter the complete
URL of the website you wish to promote. For
example, if you are promoting the
Big Dogs program, in the block to the right, enter YOUR ClickBank hoplink
(in lower case letters):
https://hop.clickbank.net/?affiliate=yournickname&vendor=bigdogs
From now on (assuming you are
promoting the Big Dogs program) you will ALWAYS copy and paste your
Big Dogs ClickBank hoplink into the
"Website URL" block.
STEP 6c: In the "Choose Tracker URL Domain"
block.....
.....using the drop-down menu, select "trackit.link"
STEP
6d:
In the "Cloak URL?"
area.....
.....make sure to
check the "NO" button.(It
is important to check the 'NO' button!)
STEP
6e:
In the "Branding Bar Location"
area.....
.....make sure that
the "Hidden" button is
chosen
(It is important to make sure that
the 'Hidden' button IS
checked!)
(Your "Enter A URL To
Track" area should now look like the following:
Except, of course, it is YOUR ClickBank hoplink in the
"Website
URL" block. Also, the "Campaign Name" is
Mailsy.net and NOT proactivemailer.com)

STEP 6f:
Finally, click the rectangular gray button labeled "Add
URL"
You have just added Mailsy to your campaigns, and you will be redirected to a
verification page, similar to the one below: (Note that the
characters at the end of the tracking link are now different, while
everything else remains unchanged)

STEP 6g:
Click the "Click Here to Add New Cloaking URL"
hotlink text to return to the "Enter A URL to Track" page to enter the rest of the CHIP programs.
STEP 6:

But before we begin adding
additional CHIP programs, take a look at your "Enter A URL to Track" page.
There are now TWO ROWS of data
that now displayed near the top
of the page you will see
the "Campaign Names" as "proactivemailer.com" AND
"mailsy.net" To the right of each of the Campaign Names are TWO URL's:
The top one is the "Website
URL" - the website you are promoting and the one to which
you will be sending traffic. Assuming you are promoting Big
Dogs this URL would, of course be YOUR ClickBank hoplink. From
now on this "Website URL" will ALWAYS be the same: it
will ALWAYS be your ClickBank hoplink!
Directly
below the Website URL is the all-important "tracking
link" This "Tracking Link" is what you
will actually be copying and pasting into the advertising programs when you use
them. Every "Tracking
Link" is different (since you will have several different
CHIP programs to track), but in the same general form.....
https://trackit.link/mo63
.....the only difference being
the four to six character code at the end.
STEP 7:
NOW... let's set up the
"Tracking
Link" for the
remaining CHIP programs.
For adding additional campaigns,
simply refer back to Step 3, above.
Note
the following important points....:
1. The "Campaign Name"---
---is ALWAYS DIFFERENT
in every case: it is the URL (minus the
"https://") of a different advertising (CHIP) program.
2. The "Website URL"---
---(directly below the
URL of the advertising - CHIP - program) is ALWAYS THE SAME in every case: It
is YOUR unique ClickBank
hoplink, assuming you are promoting the Big Dogs program.
3.
The "Tracking Link"---
---ALL your tracking links are in the same generic
form, but differs (ONLY) in the
four to six characters at the end.
Step 8:
Now just set up
the adtracking links for the remaining CHIP programs.
(Should take you less than a minute for each one!).....
Summary
(Important
Side Note: As you are aware, BuildABizOnline is far, FAR more than
merely an adtracking program. IN ADDITION to its adtracker, BABO
also contains:
---an
autoresponder!
---an HTML editor!
---not just ONE, but TWO banner builders!
---a URL rotator!
---a logo building tool!
---a splash page builder!
---and many, MANY other useful tools!
Now,
although the Big Dogs Home Office DOES provide an in-depth tutorial
for BABO's adtracking feature (above),
we DO NOT provide tutorial
or other assistance for any of the other benefits.
This is because the BABO site itself, provides very well-done video
and static tutorials for these additional benefits.)
That's it! You're done!
Close the BuildABizOnline site and continue on to the next
Fast-Track Tutorial.
(Note:
Each of the companies in the CHIP program are independent entities.
As such, the owners of these companies may change the directions on
how to use their program at any time. If you find that the
directions on the website deviate from those in this Fast Track Guide,
please inform the Big Dogs Home Office at Stan@BigDogSecrets.com
so that we may update the Tutorial.)
