Herculist
Effectively Using Herculist to Have Your Ad Emailed

For most effective use of each of the CHIP programs, we recommend using three separate browser windows:  We recommend opening this Tutorial in one browser window, while your Adtracker is opened in a second browser window.  Eventually, then, your Herculist website will be  opened in a third browser window.

PART A:
Entering HercuList for the FIRST time, to send out your first ad.

Step 1:  (of 4)

Copy-and-paste the URL for HercuList into your browser.  If you've followed our instructions, that URL will look like this:

https://herculist.com

Go to the Herculist website.  In the upper right corner click the oval black "Login" link.....

.....enter your username and password and click the "I'm not a robot" box in the upper center of the next page.....

.....and click the oval blue "Login" button to go to the Members Area.

Step 2:

You will be introduced to what is called a "LogIn Ad" or "Sponsor Ad"  These are full-page ads that are ads purchased by other Herculist members.  Ignore it!  Instead, click the oval blue hotlink in the upper right corner of the website labeled "HercuList Members"

On the next page that is displayed, click the oval blue "Submit Ads" button in the upper right corner.

(You MAY be introduced to yet another "Login Ad"  If so, there will be an "X" in a white circle at the extreme upper left corner of the page.  Click this "X" and the actual members area page will be displayed.)

Step 3:

On the menu running across the top of this Members Area page, click the first item on the left - the large orange oval - labeled "Submit Email/Web Ad"

You will be introduced to ANOTHER "LogIn Ad" or "Sponsor Ad"  Ignore it!  Instead, click the orange text link near the top of the page labeled "Continue To Ad Mailers""

You will be on the "Submit Ad" page.

Step 4:

On the "Submit Ad" page scroll down to the "Regular Mailer" area on the left, to the blocks into which you will enter the following information for your ad.....

(1)  In the first block ("Subject Line"), copy and paste the Subject Line of your ad.

(2)  In the second block (unlabeled), copy and paste the adtracker link for Herculist.  If you've followed our instructions, that URL will look similar to this:

(NOTE:  Make SURE to copy and paste the ENTIRE URL, INCLUDING the "https" portion;  otherwise the link will NOT work!

(3)  In the third block ("Ad Body"), copy and paste your actual Sales Message

(4)  You do NOT have to enter a certain number of credits (your ad will always go out to the entire membership!), and you do NOT have to save the ad (the Herculist system automatically saves your ten most recent ads!)

(5)  Click the oval blue "Submit Ad" button

IMPORTANT: Do not click the Submit button more than once. Please wait until the ad is completely submitted. This might take a few minutes.  When this process is completed you will see a message stating, "Ad successfully submitted to XXXXXXX members"

Summary Part A- After You've Sent Your First Ad
That's it!  You're done!  Your sales message has been placed in the queue and shortly, your Herculist site will  AUTOMATICALLY send it out to the database of targeted prospects.   The only time you need to return to the site is when you wish to send out your ad again.

For now..... (1) close the Herculist site and (2) close this browser window to return to the Training Manual website to continue on to the next Fast-Track Tutorial.

PART B:
Entering HercuList again (on a different day, of course), to send out your ad out succeeding times.

Step 1:  (of 6)

Copy-and-paste the URL for HercuList into your browser.  If you've followed our instructions, that URL will look like this:

Go to the Herculist website.  In the upper right corner click the oval black "Login" link.....

.....enter your username and password and click the "I'm not a robot" box in the upper center of the next page.....

.....and click the oval blue "Login" button to go to the Members Area.

Step 4:

On the "Submit Ad" page scroll down to the "Regular Mailer"

Click the white-outlined oval link labeled "Submit Previous Ad":

You will be introduced to yet ANOTHER "LogIn Ad" or "Sponsor Ad"  Ignore this one as well!  Instead.....

.....click the orange text link near the top of the page labeled "Continue To Mailer History"

You will be on the "Your Regular/Credit Mailer History" page.

Step 5:

On the "Your Regular/Credit Mailer History" page you will see a table displaying data about the ten most recent ads you have sent out.

They have been AUTOMATICALLY saved for you!

In the fourth column (the "Resubmit Ad" column), click the blue "Resubmit Ad" hotlink.

Step 6:

Upon clicking that "Resubmit Ad" link you will immediately be taken back to the "Submit Ad" page, where - LO AND BEHOLD! - your Message Subject, Message Body, and Site URL are already filled in!

Now, all YOU have to do is to click the oval blue "Submit" button   

IMPORTANT: Do not click the Submit button more than once. Please wait until the ad is completely submitted. This might take a few minutes.  When this process is completed you will see a message stating, "Ad successfully submitted to XXXXXXX members"

Summary Part B- After You've Sent Succeeding Ads
That's it!  You're done!  The simple procedure of "saving previous ads" has cut your mailing time by 75%.  From now on, each mailing you do can be done in less than a minute!

Your sales message has been placed in the queue and shortly, your Herculist site will  AUTOMATICALLY send it out to the database of targeted prospects.   The only time you need to return to the site is when you wish to send out your ad again.  For now, close the Herculist site and continue on to the next Fast-Track Tutorial.

IMPORTANT!

How often should you change your ad?  We recommend changing your ad NO MORE THAN ONCE A MONTH!  This cuts your time down IMMEASURABLY - that should be obvious.

If you want to use different ads, remember that, as an Alpha Dog, you have at your disposal, over a dozen OTHER programs into which you CAN use different ads, saving THEIR templates.
