Not to belabor the obvious, I think it’s pretty well established that Big Dogs has become an icon of Internet marketing.

• As far as the “Secrets of the Big Dogs” ebook alone, we have literally HUNDREDS of testimonials from purchasers who have emailed us to express their thanks at “having their eyes opened” to the basic “do’s and don’ts” of Internet marketing!
• We have dozens of Alpha Dogs who, for the first time in their Internet careers, are making hundreds and in some cases THOUSANDS of dollars in residual income each month from their promotion of the Big Dogs program!
• The Big Dogs have been responsible for, in some cases, a DOUBLING of business for many of the CHIP program companies!  (Think the CHIP program owners LIKE us Big Dogs!?)
• As you know, many of the CHIP companies hold periodic sales contests.  In looking over each of these company’s “contest boards,” I’ve found that over the course of this last year, Big Dogs account for between 60% and 80% of the winners of these contests – EVEN THOUGH NONE OF US HAS ACTIVELY PROMOTED THE INDIVIDUAL COMPANIES – it’s all been done INDIRECTLY, as a result of the “magic” of the Secrets of the Big Dogs ebook!
• Even the Alpha Dogs who are NOT promoting the Big Dogs program, but rather, are using the leads generated by the CHIP programs to promote another favorite program, are reporting HUGE increases in their sales!
• The term "Big Dogs" has become a household word on the Internet.  Even the folks who have not (yet) joined us are at least cognizant of…”those Big Dog people out there.”

Now, in December of 2001, we announced what, for lack of a better phrase, we called Big Dogs II.  Big Dogs II was NOT a "new" or "different" program, but rather an ENHANCEMENT of the existing Big Dogs program.

What we asked the Big Dogs membership to do was to recommend to Home Office programs similar in theme to the original programs in the C.H.I.P. - programs that our Big Dogs affiliates, themselves had used and felt to be worthy of inclusion into the Coordinated High Income Portfolio (C.H.I.P.)

Think about it!

For the first time in the history of Internet marketing a company was asking it's AFFILIATES to assist in designing it's program.....

.....a program designed, NOT by it's OWNERSHIP, but by it's MEMBERSHIP!!!

Little did we foresee the interest and excitement this would generate!.....

When we email out the Big Dogs Bulletin, it usually takes the program about two hours to send to the entire Big Dogs membership.  Unbelievably, we had replies coming back to us even before the entire mailing went out!  Within three days we had over one thousand suggestions!!

We reviewed and investigated over forty of these recommended programs, and a few months later, after our "due diligence" was completed, we rolled out "Big Dogs II - The Legend Continues."  Five of the programs made our "cut," and these are the programs that were added to the C.H.I.P.

All five of these programs were ones that were recommended to Home Office by our affiliates.

Now this is the good part!.....

The Big Dogs Home Office enrolled into each of those five programs UNDER THE REFERRING BIG DOGS AFFILIATE who first referred the program to us!!!

In other words...

...if YOU refer a program to the Big dogs Home Office that we eventually decide to include into the C.H.I.P., we enroll in that program using YOUR reseller URL.
ALL OF THE NEW ALPHA DOGS WHO THEN JOIN THAT PARTICULAR PROGRAM ARE IN YOUR DOWNLINE!!!

Obviously, then, referring good, quality programs to Big Dogs HQ can be a VERY rewarding experience!

What kind of programs are we looking for?

Well, the main focus of the Coordinated High Income Portfolio is, of course,

TRAFFIC AND LEAD GENERATION.

So obviously the programs we would be interested in adding to future updates of the Big Dogs program would be geared toward that end.

Now, there ARE certain guidelines you'll need to follow when recommending programs to Home Office:

• Once again, we are interested ONLY in programs that generate leads.  PUH-LEZE don't send us suggestions for so-called "gifting" programs or downline clubs or "hot, new" nutritional supplement programs.  Traffic generation type programs ONLY!

• YOU must have been a member of the program you are referring for at least one month.

• In your own words, give us a description of the benefits of the program.  Also, tell us why you like it, what results you've had, and why you feel it would be a good addition to the C.H.I.P.  DON'T just email us a URL and tell us to, "go look at this hot one!"

• We are interested only in companies that have an affiliate program and pay commissions.  This may SOUND obvious, but we have looked at a number of programs that, while having some positive benefits, did NOT pay a referral commission!  Yes, there ARE some out there.

• If the company is in "pre-launch," we ain't interested!  Thus far we are happy to say that we have yet to eliminate a program from the C.H.I.P. because the company went down the tubes.  We want to keep it that way!  Refer only companies that have been around (a month or two, at least) long enough to have "knocked off the rough edges" and are stable.

• We generally do not consider a company unless I have personally talked with the owner.  There ARE exceptions, but you can make our job a LOT easier if you are able to provide us with the name of the principal and the telephone number of their Home Office.

By-the-way...

...there ARE other program we could conceivably be interested in, in addition to traffic generation programs.  For example, we have four programs right now in the C.H.I.P. that have nothing DIRECTLY to do with generating leads.  "SafeListWorld" provides a way to send an ad to hundreds of safelists at a time - "AdMinder" tracks your ad results - "Group Mailer" enables you to send out your sales message in bulk - "TopEzineAds" is an ezine directory.  So...if you run across what we call "support" programs that you feel would be valuable, let us know - subject, of course, to the general guidelines listed above.

Obviously, we are going to have Big Dog members duplicating suggestions, so the only fair way to proceed is for Home Office to join any selected programs under the FIRST Big Dog who recommends it.
