is Heating Up!

Just 10 days into the month and our hot, new August contest is looking VERY interesting!

To bring those several hundred of you "new dogs" up to speed on the contest, what we set out to do was to give EVERYBODY a shot at making some nice extra cash….

To sorta celebrate the Dog Days of Summer we are gonna be running a contest for the entire month of August. Here’s how it works…The Big Dog among you who has the most "Secrets of the Big Dogs" ebook sales for the month of August will win a cool

FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS

and will be officially crowned the Leader of the Pack, the Top Gun, the Marketer Before Whom All Others Tremble In Awe, Guru of Guru’s, and (for those Italians among you) Capo di Tutti Capi

The number two guy or gal will receive

TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS.

Third place earns $125.00
Fourth Place is good for $75.00, and
fifth place earns you $50.00!

BUT!…when I first decided to have this contest, I KNEW there would be a problem. We’ve got folks (like Brian "The Sheriff" Garvin, and this new hot-shot Tom "The Admiral" Bell) who are ALWAYS at the top. I knew nobody would be motivated to really hussle for this contest if they thought that the established Big Guns would automatically snatch up the prizes.

So I came up with this idea…

Any of you play golf? Then you’re familiar with the term "handicap." The term refers to a "handicap" that is imposed on better players to sorta "level the playing field" and let less advanced players have a chance. What I wanted to do was establish a contest that would give even a brand new "newbie" the same chance at the big bucks as our more established power players.

So here’s the "handicap" for the Dog Days of Summer Contest: I am going to take your total ebook sales for the Month of July and deduct it from your total ebook sales for the month of August. The remainder is what will determine your placing in the contest! In other words, let’s say you had 100 sales in July, and you end up with 110 sales in August. We subtract 100 from 110, leaving you with 10 sales that count for the August contest. By the same token, let’s say you’re just starting out with the Big Dogs and in July you didn’t have ANY sales. In August, however, you end up with 11 sales. If we subtract 0 from 11, that leaves you with 11 "contest-qualifying-sales." YOU WOULD PLACE HIGHER THAN THAT PERSON WHO HAD 110 SALES IN AUGUST!!!

Now THAT, fellow dogs, levels the playing field, and gives EVERYBODY a shot at the cash!

The contest started officially on August 1, will end at midnight on August 31, and the final arbiter of sales will be ClickBank statistics – plain and simple. Even you new folks and you folks who haven’t placed at the top in the past now have a chance to score BIG in this contest! And you Top Dogs – you folks that are consistently in the top ten - now you have a REAL chance to strut your stuff! Show everybody what you’re made of! Show us that "the steeper the mountain, the tougher the man!"

But first, fellow dogs, before we see how the contest stats are shaping up, let’s salute the top ten Big Dogs in TOTAL sales for the month…

First of all, in the number one spot is "The Admiral." Relatively new to the Big Dogs team, Tom Bell scores big with 77 "Secrets of the Big Dogs" ebook sales for the first 10 days of August.

Following closely behind with 55 sales so far, is Alan Yap, who had a mere 2 sales his first month with the Dogs!

Third place belongs to Earl Mason with 45 sales. "The Sheriff" Garvin locks in fourth place with 31 sales, and Hucleberry Finn holds the current number five spot with 17 sales.

Sharing sixth place with 14 sales each are Frank "Unimax" Sanders and Connie Allen. Ken McVay, who is REALLY coming alive this month, currently owns seven place with his 13 sales., with Bob Truesdale in eighth place with 11 ebook sales. Old-timer Duane Knox and Tammy Wotton share ninth place with 10 sales apiece, while Olive Greenaway has a firm lock on the number ten spot with her 9 ebooks sales.

Congrats to all of you! You’re doing a TERRIFIC job in what is supposed to be the slowest month of the year!

And now we come to the top placers so far in the Dog Days of Summer Contest!

Let’s see what happens when we apply the "handicap" formula and DEDUCT the previous month’s sales from everyone’s totals!

As you can see, it’s gonna be a VERY interesting month!!!…

So far (but remember, the month is just one third over!) Alan Yap has a HUGE lead with his 53 NET sales!

Second Place - The $250.00 Prize!

A three way tie!!! Bob Truesdale, Fermin Suero, and Mike "Tersiocity" Wilson, with their 8 net sales!

Third Place - The $125.00 Prize!

Pete Maritz, with 7 net sales!

Fourth Place – The $75.00 Prize!

Rupinder Azrot, with 6 net sales!

Fifth Place – The $50.00 Prize!

Another three-way tie!  Lorrin Lee, John Donnelly, and Ken McVay, with 5 sales each!

I think it’s safe to say, fellow dogs, that the contest is doing what it was designed to do – to give EVERYBODY a shot at winning! You’ll notice a lot of NEW names in the above list. In fact, of the nine contest qualifiers, FIVE have just joined the Big Dogs! And because of the "handicapping".....

...you don’t need BIG numbers to win!

Remember, sports fans, the month is still young!  Even if you’re just coming on board now, YOU – that’s right, YOU – have an opportunity to have some fun and win some cash!
