Well, fellow dogs, we're gonna be comin' out with some VERY interesting changes and additions to the Big Dogs program in the next few weeks!
WATCH FOR 'EM! And be prepared to be VERY excited!
The first change, although relatively minor, is STILL important and the one we want to discuss in today's Bulletin. In fact, we would like YOUR help and YOUR feedback.
Now we're all pretty familiar with the main sales page for the "Secrets of the Big Dogs" ebook - you know, the one that starts out, "You are about to become a thoroughbred of Internet marketing." The generic URL for this page is...

Understand that your prospects will STILL be taken to the OLD sales page at this point, but in a few days, when they click on your hoplink, it will be the NEW sales page that they will be taken to.
Now, in comparing the two pages, the first thing you will notice is the background color change. The old sales page was a dark blue, while the new sales page is a light yellow with a dark blue border. We always test any pages on the website using the three most popular browsers, and the appearance of the old page never appeared to have a problem. However, over the last two years we have occasionally gotten an email form a prospect telling us that it was very difficult to read the text on the dark blue background. Changing the background to light yellow should eliminate this problem in even the least used browsers.
You'll also note that we have "tightened" up the text by using a smaller font size. This should make it much easier to read quickly.
Scrolling down a little, you'll notice that right beside the picture of your Fearless Leader seated at the desk is our Home Office contact information, highlighted in yellow. Now we've ALWAYS had that information on the sales page... but it was down at the bottom. It's STILL down at the bottom, but we've also duplicated it at this point as well. Why? Well, this is one feature of our sales site that has always been a very, very positive selling feature. Less than one percent of sales sites include ALL of this information, and it has lent an immeasurable amount of credibility to the Big Dogs site. By adding this information in the MIDDLE of the sales page, it gives us a whole lot of "credibility points" right out of the gun!
There are very few other formatting changes, but one thing you will notice is that we've eliminated the three testimonials we had on that first page. Why on earth would we do this!? Well, over the years we've accumulated a LOT of testimonials. In fact you should have noticed that we have 'em all listed in the Training Manual Site - there are close to a hundred!
If you scroll down toward the bottom of the new sales page, between the "guarantee seal" and the Better Business Bureau seal," you'll see the text...

"Secrets of the Big Dogs!"By using the "Click Here" hotlink, your prospect will now be able to go to another page which shows ALL of the testimonials - not just three! They will then return to the sales page simply by using their browser's back button. These testimonials are really great, and should definitely motivate your prospects to make the purchase! Again, a whole lotta "credibility points!"
At the very bottom of the page, right above the Home Office contact information, you'll see four "Legal Information" links that may require a little explanation.
You may have noticed that one of the currently hot topics on the Internet the past few weeks has been the subject of the Federal Trade Commission's shutting down over 150 sites because of (supposedly) nothing more than these sites not having the proper legal disclaimers. We, at Big Dogs HQ, have received a lot of questions about this topic, and thus we have added the proper disclaimers to the site. (Note: The links you see are not yet "live," but when the new sales page becomes active in a few days, they will be.)
Now I DO have a few words to say about these disclaimers: First of all, we have ALWAYS, since day one, had the disclaimers at the end of the "Secrets of the Big Dogs" ebook itself. We've added links to them on the sales page more as a public relations gesture than anything else.
Y'see, MY personal opinion is that use of these disclaimers as a protective measure is WAY over-hypted! You can have fifty pages of legal disclaimers, but if your website is purposely inaccurate or fraudulent to begin with, all the "disclaimers" in the world ain't gonna keep you out of trouble! In other words, if your site proclaims something like, "We guarantee that you'll make a million dollars by noon tomorrow - the next day at the latest!" do you REALLY think that adding legal disclaimers is going to stave off the FTC!? Not by a long shot!
We at Big Dogs have always been proud of the fact that, compared to so many other business opportunity sites on the Internet, we are actually very CONSERVATIVE in our presentation. Be that as it may, the disclaimers WILL be active, if for no other reason than to illustrate to some of your potential prospects that "Big Dogs aims to please!"
